Wedding Dress experience online.

I found this forum so helpful when ordering my wedding outfit online so i thought i share my experience to help anyone looking.
I got married this March. I live in Canada and do not have family back home to send me clothing so I had no option but to shop online. I am not comfortable going to in house boutiques and all the main shops in GTA are too over priced.
After reading the horror stories about people ordering online and not getting their dresses on time or getting something that looked nothing like picture they had sent or not getting a dress that they had paid for all together, I was very confused about ordering online.

I had emailed and messaged pages that I heard about from this forum to inquire and some were too expensive while others were too rude. I had several people just stop replying after multiple messages because i was asking prices for too many outfits. How else was I supposed to know the price if they dont post it? I had one owner tell me she will not tell me any more prices because I am not a serious buyer. This was very frustrating because I didnt know what I wanted at the time. I was very particular about quality but was not too sure about colours or styles at the time. I knew I didnt want traditional Red for my nikkah and yellow for my mehndi. I knew i wanted something pastel for the walima. So if there was any dress I was happy about I would inquire the price and wanted to keep many options. But its hard to dismiss an option if you do not know the price. They dont write the price on their pages and then complain when inquires come in. I dont understand??

Anyways, through pinterest posts I found this facebook page Amani by A&K
The thing that I really liked about amani is how professional they were. They were so nice and they werent even pushing me for a sale. I inquired about so many outfits and they told me the price for each. Now they have a website so all prices are there but when I was ordering they told me it was under construction. I asked to see some of their work and the girl that was helping me (Sadia) send me a lot of pictures. I was pretty satisfied and after all her hard work their was something that was holding me back from ordering online so I told her I was sorry and did not want to order. She was still very nice and said that they only want me to order if I feel comfortable and it was okay and they hope i find what I am looking for.

After about 2 weeks of further hunting online I didnt find the kind of professionalism that they had. So I messaged back and said that I was worried about having to order dresses that were so expensive and to trust like that. The girl told me that they accept payment through PayPal (all others wanted western union) and that I could order swatches or something small to see the service and quality. Since I still had a lot of time I decided to order my mehndi outfit from them and swatches for the nikkah outfit. The girl, Sadia, told me that she would put a rush on it so that I could get it ASAP and decide on the other outfits. I got my outfit within 3 weeks and it was so beautiful. The work on the outfit was so clean. The fabric was such good quality. I was so happy with it. My aunt who has had a boutique for years was so impressed. She is usually hard to please. I immediately made an order for my nikkah and walima dress. They are a little expensive but if you are looking for good quality its totally worth it. I remember the girl mentioning they had karigars that have worked with top Pakistani fashion brands ( I dont remmeber names now, I am not too familiar with Pakistani brands).

My brother is law is getting married late August so we have just placed and order for his wife's dress which reminded me to do this review.

Hope this helps all you people looking. I am also looking to sell my wedding outfits if anyone is interested in second hand PM me.
