Red Plum Combination

Hi
I would like to do this colour combination for my shaadi gharara but i'm not sure how to do it.
Shall I go for Red Kameez Dupatta with plum borders and Plum Gharara
or Red Kameez Dupatta Gharara and plum borders.
I'm not sure how a totally different colour gharara would look.
Also if anyone has nay pics of this combination working well please post. There are some shades of red and plum that are too bright and don't look nice together... I think I would need to go for deeper shades right?
