I've never worn shalwar kameez at home. But after the wedding I know that my fiancés family will visit us a lot and stay over on holidays, weekends etc. They're quite traditional and wear shalwar kameez pretty much all the time.
I don't want to offend anyone, so I'm thinking of get some shalwar kameez' made that I can use at home/to sleep in, but I have no idea where to start.....
- What sort of fabrics to choose? What would be the most comfortable?
- Are long kameez' with long sleeves and churidar pajamas too much? ....
I just don't like regular shalwars, too much fabric.
- What colours do I choose? I obviously don't want something bright pink, they're gonna think I'm mad - flashy night/home wear ....
- What sort of patterns ....
Am I giving this too much thought?
I just want to blend in ... not stand out too much ... lol ...
