My SIL is getting married next month and I already set up appts for hair and make up for baraat and walima days, I want to look flawless. But I am taking the risk of not getting my hair and make up done in a parlor for her Mehndi party. I made this decision based on my finances and also on the fact that we don't need a very elaborate hair and make for mehndi mostly. Even thought nowadays things are getting pretty crazy, and even on small dolks, mayouns and mehndis the guest go looking so fancy and you can even mistaken them for the dulhan.
My make up skills are reasonable, but when talking about hair i am a total disaster. When i try following detailed tutorials, it mostly turns out fine. But starting from scratch and using solely my own imagination is a big no-no for me.
So i would like some tips of nice and easy/doable hair styles i can try to do on my SIL mehndi, if there are any tutorials that may help me i would really appreciate.
PS.: By doable i mean something i can do while watching after my 3yo. My husband is awesome and i can def count on him to take care of our kid when i need, but once that is his sister function i'm not sure he will be available to watch after our kid.
